Paul Laso serves on staff at Brainerd as one of the Preaching Pastors and North Georgia Campus Pastor. Paul was born and raised in Miami, FL. Paul holds a B.A. in Bible, a Master’s in Ministry (Leadership), and an M.A. in Christian Education (Church Discipleship). He is pursuing a Doctoral Degree at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina, studying expository preaching. Paul serves on the Board of Trustees for Communities in Schools of Catoosa County, serves on the LSGT Committee at Westside Elementary, and is a Practicum Instructor of Pastoral Leadership and Expository Preaching for Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Formerly, Paul served at Tennessee Temple University as the Dean of Men and Adjunct Instructor of Christian Life and Evangelism.

He and his wife, Kaye, married in 2014 and welcomed their first child, Isabella, in 2016 and in October 2018 had their second child Aubriella.

Paul and Kaye reside in Ringgold, GA. They enjoy the outdoor activities that North Georgia and Chattanooga have to offer, along with all of the local restaurants they have grown to love. Paul loves to play sports and is a fan of the Miami Heat, Miami Hurricanes (ITS ALL ABOUT THE U!), and after 15 years of living in Chattanooga he calls The Atlanta Braves his baseball team (occasionally he helps pull for his wife’s team, THE Alabama Crimson Tide).
